I developed an interactive energy dashboard for People’s Action for Clean Energy (PACE) that allows Connecticut towns to visualize current energy consumption and model projected changes under a transition to 100% clean energy.
I used R to clean and integrate electric vehicle, building energy, and clean energy usage datasets from motor vehicle registration databases, tax assessor offices, and utility companies across Connecticut to support the visualization of an energy consumption analysis.
I implemented parameterized reporting so users can select any town to view customized metrics, and included a ‘Download PDF Report’ feature that leverages R Markdown and LaTeX to generate a professionally formatted, downloadable report.
This project combines data wrangling and interactive visualization to provide actionable insights for individual energy planning and clean energy advocacy.
